How is the material that we throw into the big blue 'recycling' bins in Auckland processed? It seems to me that someone, somewhere has a MASSIVE job to sort everything that's in these bins into the individual recycling areas (ie. cans, glass, paper, cardboard, plastics etc)... and indeed, is this actually done?
