Congratulations to All Good Organics which was named one of the world’s most ethical companies by the New York-based Ethisphere Institute.
The company sells the All Good Bananas range, which encourages Kiwis to “say no to the corporate banana” by buying Fairtrade, and Fairtrade organic produce instead.
The premium paid to Fairtrade banana growers in Ecuador has allowed their co-operative to build their own medical centre, get health insurance, purchase an excavator to help with post-flood recovery, and get educated on more environmentally-friendly farming techniques.
